The impact we make

Aruna is Head of the Forensic Accounting Services division of Sedgwick in Asia. Joining Sedgwick from a forensic accounting firm, she has almost 20 years’ experience working in the insurance industry. She is dual-qualified as a Chartered Loss Adjuster and Accountant. Aruna is CILA’s treasurer and chairperson of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjuster’s (CILA) Business Interruption (BI) Special Interest Group (SIG).

Our history & our arms

The Great Fire of London in 1666 heralded the beginnings of the Loss Adjusting profession. Afterwards, with the introduction of fire insurance on buildings, independent surveyors and tradesmen were soon using their expertise in settling claims.
