Defra Property Level Flood Resilience Round Table 2017 End of Year 1 Report
This paper provides a year one update on the progress of the Property Flood Resilience (PFR) action plan which is a five year project involving both UK government and business.
The intention of this plan is to make it easier for people to make their homes flood resilient and activity includes testing of resilience measures, engagement with lenders and insurers, creation of a central website, development of a Code of Practice (with associated training), communications, plus the capture and sharing of flood resilience data. Representatives from the insurance industry, including loss adjusters, are participating in this project.
