Fraud and Property Claims

This paper examines fraud and highlights key considerations for loss adjusters. It explores what fraud is, the principles and practical aspects of claims investigation, standard of proof, outcomes and remedies.

It includes reference to the Fraud Act 2006, Enterprise Act 2016, Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, Data Protection Act 1998 and Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
